KFC Merelbeke

KFC Merelbeke is a Belgian football club based in Merelbeke, registered with the Royal Belgian FA under matricule number 3551. Founded in 1942 as Vlug en Vrij Merelbeke, the club adopted its current name in 1992. Its colours are green and blue. After years of steady growth, KFC Merelbeke will compete in Belgian National Division 1 starting from the 2024–2025 season.

Thanks to a key merger in 1988 and consistent success on the pitch, the club has climbed from the provincial leagues to the national level, securing promotions in 2015, 2016, 2019, and 2024.
