Welkom bij WDS ’19, de oudste amateurvoetbalclub van Breda. Sinds onze oprichting in 1919 door de broeders van Willibrordus hebben we een rijke geschiedenis opgebouwd.

Onze club is gevestigd op sportpark Paradijs, gelegen in de gelijknamige Bredase wijk, een deel van de Haagse Beemden. Dit is al sinds 2011 onze thuisbasis, waar we met trots onze wedstrijden spelen en trainen.

Een bijzonder kenmerk van WDS ’19 is ons sterke meidenvoetbalprogramma. Al sinds de jaren ’80 zijn meiden en vrouwen volop vertegenwoordigd in onze club. Sterker nog, WDS ’19 heeft relatief gezien het meeste aantal meiden en vrouwen in het ledenbestand van alle clubs in Breda. Daar zijn we enorm trots op en het is een belangrijk onderdeel van onze identiteit.

Naast onze rijke geschiedenis en sterke meidenvoetbaltraditie, hebben we ook het genoegen gehad om enkele bekende (ex-)spelers te verwelkomen, waaronder Virgil van Dijk. Dit illustreert de kwaliteit en potentie die we als club bieden.
