ZVC United Wellen

ZVC United Wellen werd opgericht in 1985 door Jos Indesteege en Roby Neesen, met de steun van sponsors zoals André Donvil, eigenaar van Lingerie AN en Schoenen Donvil. Onder de naam « Liando Wellen » en met blauw/witte clubkleuren begon de club haar reis in de 4e provinciale Limburg. Na enkele seizoenen in de middenmoot groeide de ambitie, wat leidde tot vijf opeenvolgende promoties van 4e provinciale naar 2e nationale – een unieke prestatie in het zaalvoetbal.

In de hoogtijdagen kende de club volle zalen en memorabele derby’s, zoals die tegen Wel-Uit en ZVK St-Truiden. Sponsoring werd steeds belangrijker, met naamswijzigingen zoals Sentinel en Axtron tot de huidige naam ’t Schaliehuys Wellen. Ondanks de dalende populariteit van zaalvoetbal door gesplitste bonden, blijft ZVC United Wellen trouw aan haar passie. Tegenwoordig spelen de teams onder zowel de KBVB- als BZVB-vlag, met een focus op de toekomst en plezier in het spel.
